Bonding Requirements

Lots of tactics and manipulation. One was bonded with just over 100 tactics and over 130 manipulation.

Zygefgh says: I bonded one with 83 in each skill.

I did it with 80 manipulation and a shitload more tactics, probably only need 80 tactics too.

Known Abilities

Foxes are masters of deceit and grant their consort access to many abilities. They can be found around Liathyr and randomly in the Northlands and Cimbra. They have some degree of night vision.

Attribute Modifications

Foxes grant bonuses to Intelligence, Dexterity, Charisma and Perception. This is at 50% Bond Strength.

Specialty Bonuses

Bonus specialty degrees and access are provided as follows:

Tier 1

Tier 2

Tier 3

At 'resilient' bond strength, tier three bonuses are increased to two.

Tier 4

At the middle of 'resilient' bond strength, the tier 4 specialty is increased to two.

Tier 5

Tier 6

Tier 7

At the middle of 'fairly healthy':

At 'very healthy' bond strength, the Tier 1 bonus specialties are increased to 2.

At the middle of 'robust' bond strength, the Tier 2 bonus specialty (Stealth) is increased to 2.

Tier 8

Late in 'robust' bond strength:

Deep

Appraisal, Symbology

Charms

Additional Bonuses and Powers

Special Attacks

  • Dart of Magick

Low SP cost, does magickal damage, quite obviously, low activity cost.

Halfway through Very Healthy-

  • Spark of sorcerous lightning

Slightly higher sp cost and the same activity cost. Granted somewhere during very healthy and deals magick and electrical damage.

  • Disk of Shadow

About 10 SP cost, same activity as the other special attacks, does shadow damage.

  • Bolt of Chaos Magick

About 10 SP cost, same activity as the other special attacks, does chaos magick damage.

  • Ball of Sorcerous Radiance

Seems to be a very large attack, hits full body against humans.

You throw a ball of sorcerous radiance at the Grey Mouser, catch it in the heart of the ball and sear its chest.
  • Swarm of Sorcerous Firedarts

Magick+Fire+Piercing, doesn't seem very strong itself but has a displace effect

The special attacks use Throwing and one half of Thaumaturgy in their attack ratings.

Traits Granted

Luck, which quickly grows through bond strength.

One point of Night vision, around 'resilient' bond strength.

Ambidexterity around deep

Combat Bonus
