Trait Type: Definition
The kind of sustenance one's body requires is determined by one's diet trait.  Different diet types have different requirements; for
instance, a carnivore eats only meat, while an herbivore eats only vegetables.  Some types are particularly unusual; for instance,
ametabolic individuals do not eat and drink at all, and photovores create their own food using sunlight.

Diet types

Ametabolic

Due to undeath or other means (e.g. meditation at 150 Attunement) you don't need to eat or drink at all. Note that this normally also means that you can't eat or drink anymore, so no potions or getting drunk.

Carnivore

This means that your species eats only meat. Various things that are not quite meat can be consumed (such as salad from the Grinning Cat) but generally you can't eat plants.

Frugivore

Incendivore

Photovore

This means you consume light as your primary source of nutrition. Most commonly acquired via Race (Aethoss, Dryad), but can also be acquired by certain bonds. This does not effect drinking so water is still a must. On the bright side potions can are consumbable.

Materials: Choleric Bile, Hemolymph, Honey, Ice, Ichor, Jelly, Melancholic Bile, Mucus, Phlegm, Semen, Slime. Properties: Drug, Spice
