Description
All clergy of the mighty god Galduron, Lord of Wealth and Finance, have the common attribute of an overwhelmingly precise understanding of the principles of value and fiscal policy. In line with these traits, Galduron grants his priests the use of an interdimensional portal to the vault of the Temple of Galduron in Sanctuary. The portal takes the form of a golden hoop, which allows Gatherers can place items within and thereby transport them to the vault, where the divinity of Galduron will transmute them directly into their proper value in gold coins. See 'help hoop' for details.
Lastly, Gatherers may perform religious devotions for others, known simply as 'banking services', and use the sacred litanies of Galduron to withdraw gold from or desposit gold into Galduron's divine realm. For additional details, see 'help banking services'.

Change #6439
Galduron's Vault (also known as the place where things go when Gatherers put them in the hoop) now transforms objects into wealth automatically when they are placed in the vault. Caution should be taken not to place things in the hoop that you want to continue existing as things other than gold coins. The amount of gold produced by this effect is, on average, roughly what you would get from selling the items to an indifferent vendor with moderate parity in one's respective haggling skills (ie a roughly average amount relative to what is possible for an expert haggler/trader).
Favour Management
Freshly-minted (heh) Gatherers are advised that looking at the hoop does cost a small modicum of Galduron's favour, and are advised against doing so until you've performed some banking services for others first.
It is currently unknown whether or not converting items to gold by putting them into the hoop generates favour (but one assumes it would).
Powers
Immanent Authority
Gatherer Combat Maneuver Usage: perform immanent authority [[upon] <target> with <<amount> gold>] Typical Activity Cost: 20 Those who worship Galduron know that gold is the true path to power. By sacrificing a few one of one's gold to Galduron, one may call down His authority upon a foe to a degree of severity in accordance with the amount of gold sacrificed. The more gold one sacrifices, the greater the power -- but also the greater loss to the executor's wealth. If an amount is not specified, a random amount will be chosen based on the executor's net wealth, though this value will never be larger than one-tenth of the executor's coins on hand.
Example:
You offer up five hundred gold coins and call down the authority of Galduron against Frajel, and a bolt of godly wrath leaps from your large gold hoop toward Frajel and existentially nullifies her right arm, despite her attempt to dodge.
Illustrious Privilege
Gatherer Esoteric Maneuver Usage: perform illustrious privilege [[with] <<amount> gold>] Typical Activity Cost: 20 Those who revere Galduron, the lord of wealth, know that prosperity can enrich the body, mind, and spirit as easily as it can enhance one's material grasp. By expending some of Galduron's favor, one may invest His divine privilege in oneself for a brief period of time -- the larger the favor, the greater the boost in power, but the faster it will be expended. Invoking this boon consumes a set amount of Galduron's favor, plus any gold offered to enhance the effect. If an amount is not specified, a random amount will be chosen based on the executor's net wealth, though this value will never be larger than one thousand coins or one percent of that wealth, whichever is greater. Gold offered is consumed first from the executor's accounts in Galduron's divine realm, then from the executor's personal wealth on hand if the accounts are insufficient.
