The rune zerivalak generates a bolt of lightning that has the capacity to arc from one opponent to another; your Ring of Power retains some ability to guide it, preventing it from striking friendly targets as long as your control remains adequate. The bolt will not return to a target it previously struck, and being successfully dodged, absorbed, or otherwise defended against will end its progress.
