Jhan is an idyllic town, ruled (more as a stand-in than anything) by Mettik, previously of Barsaive. The former ruller, Lord Nareth has been turned to stone and Mettik seeks help in undoing this curse.
Found in this town are two associations:
Danilo Thann seeks drinking companions for the Brotherhood of Wine and Song.
Father Jonathan will happily add you to the ranks of the forces for Order -- the Questors of Tyr
Other people of note in this town include:
- Merethus, a Ringwielder who can offer some training to those also so favoured.
- Hardrad the historian also teaches some skills here, notably a decent amount of theology.
- Lord Caimen Bitael, who wields Scorch, and is often the last thing a Chaotic would-be pillager sees
- Sir Maximillian, Knight of the Round, who aids in defense of the town
- Jardak Lierand, a nasty dragon, and ambassador, staying "upstairs" near Mettik.
