Meratarix

This is a meratarix, a weapon of the Courts of Chaos.  Often found as a companion to its larger cousin, the iltarix, it enjoys great
popularity with the Chaosborn thanks to its versatile and unpredictable nature.  The devices are forged of an otherworldly metallic
compound, urgyras, which partakes in the nature of both steel and mercury.  After this esoteric process is complete, they are enchanted
to assume the shapes of various weapons in combat, as well as provide other assistances to the wielder.  This one currently has the
form of a scourge of gleaming silvery hue.  You estimate its value at about three thousand eight hundred gold.

Iltarix

Veotarix

   This is a veotarix, a weapon of the Courts of Chaos.  A rare and deadly implement
   of destruction, it is the greater form of the iltarix.  It is coveted by warriors,
   though its sheer size limits its popularity with the assassins of the Chaosborn.  The
   devices are forged of an otherworldly metallic compound, urgyras, which partakes in
   the nature of both steel and mercury.  After this esoteric process is complete, they
   are enchanted to assume the shapes of various weapons in combat, as well as provide
   other assistances to the wielder.  This one currently has the form of a great flail
   of gleaming silvery hue.  It has a tracery of pulsing chaotic glow and a webwork of
   shimmering haze within and around it.  You estimate that it is worth something upward
   of seven thousand five hundred gold.  

   It is in perfect condition.  

   It looks about half a dimin across and eleven and a half dimins long.
