Spoiler warning: information below includes details, such as solutions to puzzles or quest procedures, that you may prefer to discover on your own.
You are bound to a Kazarzeth demon whose material form is this crystal blade. You have been
granted the use of the following powers and abilities as a result of this bond.
 <invoke> [greater power]
 <empower> [combat power]
<flare> to create a random lesser power
<resonate> [string] to broadcast a message into the collective mind of the Kazarzeth
<plunge> to plunge the blade into a mortally wounded foe, feeding the Kazarzeth with your foe's life force
<feed> to feed the Kazarzeth with your own life force
The kazarilin claw was created by Vii, Ubiquitous, and Chaos and is maintained by Vii and
Ubiquitous; the source code was last updated Mon Apr 04 06:17:38 2016. The claw weapon type was
created by Lost Souls; the source code was last updated Tue Mar 15 02:21:38 2016. The material
kazarilin was created by Chaos and Vii and is maintained by Lost Souls; the source code was last
 updated Tue Mar 15 02:18:48 2016.
Note: All weapons use the syntax 'look at runes on blade' -- looking at the runes on the actual item will not work.

You must be of at least level 15 to bond to a kazarilin weapon. I would advise waiting even longer, as they can cause major headaches.

Things You Need to Know

Basically, you 'feed' the blade by using plunge on mortally wounded enemies: the syntax works just like shi from Aisenshi, you can specify a target, or just have it auto-target whatever is mortally wounded.

your blade will more or less constantly ask for blood: note that it will ask this even when it is *very* well fed.

   ...blood...

your blade will slightly more rarely ask for a specific kind of blood:

   ...must have Amberite blood...

This implicates the kind of blood it wants the most.

When you are in combat, the blade will tell you if it's O.K. with the blood of what you're fighting. this ranges from good;

   ...AH...

to bad;

   ...NO...

Note that your blade will not get angry at you for fighting the wrong things, only for plunging the wrong things. It also won't even bother when you're not wielding it.

Headaches

Forcing you to attack things if you don't feed it.

Killing you if you feed it wrong.

The gogtzul has been mortally wounded and will die soon if not aided.
Some ichor flows from the gogtzul's chest.
The gogtzul stares at the orange male drake in concentration.
Some of the gogtzul's wounds heal.
The orange male drake plunges his kazarilin greatspear deep into the gogtzul's heart and draws forth the last of its life
force.
The kazarilin greatspear flies into a hurricane-like fury, with all of its rage directed at the orange male drake. Him
watches in helpless awe as the kazarilin greatspear rends he limb from limb.
The orange male drake's head is amputated.
The orange male drake's immense red-shimmering-black-scaled suit is torn from him.
The orange male drake's kazarilin greatspear is torn from his grasp.
The orange male drake's right foreleg and right foreclaw are amputated.
The orange male drake's left foreleg and left foreclaw are amputated.
The orange male drake's right wing is amputated.
The orange male drake's left wing is amputated.
The orange male drake's right hindleg and right hindclaw are amputated.
The orange male drake's left hindleg and left hindclaw are amputated.
orange male drake's tail is amputated.
The gogtzul dies.
The orange male drake twists and vanishes suddenly, like a flame on a candle being snuffed out.
You have been stunned.

Destroying your inventory, chakras, and buffs if you feed it wrong.

Other nasty things.

Powers

This is the good part:

Ralnos chitters: This is a more current list of runes.

Zeratul:

by 25 krystallaturgy, you'll get resonate.

by 50 krystallaturgy, you'll get flare.

by 75 krystallaturgy, you'll have all of the 'empower' runes. (and recognize invoke, but none of its subrunes)

by 80 krystallaturgy, you'll get ethereality

by 90 krystallaturgy, you'll get stunning and invincibility

by 95 krystallaturgy, you'll get haste

You recognize these runes to be of cthonimantic design.
The small unassociated rune is named 'resonate', and allows the
transmission of some information amongst all those bound to Kazarzeth blades.
The third large rune is named 'flare', and will generate a random burst of
   cthonimantic power from the weapon.
The second large rune is named 'empower', and if used will cause a blast
of battle-oriented power to emerge from the blade.
Of the small runes under 'empower', you recognize the following:
'blast' - This power generates a ray of deadly radiation.
'stun' - This power calls forth a stunning blast of energy from the blade.
'blitz' - This power creates a momentary burst of manic speed in the
   wielder.
The first large rune on the blade is named 'invoke', and is used to bring
forth greater powers from the Kazarzeth demon that inhabits the blade. Of the
runes under 'invoke', you recognize the following:
'ethereality' - This power causes the blade to become ethereal.
'stunning' - This power brings forth a stunning field around the blade
'invulnerability' - This power makes the wielder invulnerable.
'haste' - This power causes a surge of speed in the wielder.
