In the days of the Istax Empire it was much more widespread; the Istax Empire was composed of sleestak, dracon, and zuth, as well as the mysterious, now-vanished s'tali. The language of the empire was the Assarith tongue, still recognized by most of the peoples who made up Istax but spoken fluently by few yet living.
