  • Opium
    • Sources: Comes in the form of opium-soaked cigarettes, morphine syringes, and heroine syringes in roughly ascending order of potency. Such things can be acquired from Uncle Jerry or that druggie in leah's hill idr
    • Effects: Consuming enough will grant you approximately 10 minutes of analgesia, and but may randomly trigger a number of effects for the duration. So far Mental Disorders (chiefly Tourette's), minor (<10) Intelligence gain, Hedonic energy gain, and Metabolic energy loss have been observed. It also inevitably leads to addiction. Addiction comes with reduced effect duration and withdrawal symptoms. Withdrawal randomly gives increasingly dire reminders to take more opium, more disorder procs, temporary Anhedonia, temporary Analgesia, large amounts of Agonic and/or Phobic energy gain, and severe (possibly 50% of max) loss of Metabolic energy, Spiritual energy or both. It may cause you to fly into a legitimate berserk fury at any NPC you are aware of which mimics the effects of Berserkergang and sends you into the Berserker combat mode as well as attacking said NPC, even overriding Trust or Friend status.
    • Usage opinion: This is chiefly useful for the analgesia trait. Achievement hunters may also find it good for certain pursuits.
