The ability to speak and comprehend Nanomi, the tongue spoken by gnomes of
both the surface and the earth's depths.  It is a softer tongue than Dethek,
but not as lyrical as Sperethiel; it is perhaps best described as a 'comfortable'
language.  In contrast to the linguistic drift between danaan and drow, thondur
and duergar, the gnomes and svirfneblin have maintained enough contact so that their
language remains unified to this day.
