Known Abilities
The elicat is a handsome little feline creature, differing from a purely mundane cat in that it sports a pair of feathery wings, with which it can fly. Like all felines, it is a predator, attacking with claws and teeth with a ferocity that belies its small size. It breathes air and has high night vision.
Sahasrara Chakra
An elicat familiar automatically grants and charges the Sahasrara (violet) chakra, which grants bonuses to willpower, various skill bonuses, and also grants the trait Situational Awareness when fully charged.
Petting the familiar
You pet the white-winged orange tabby female elicat with your right hand. You sense holy, life-giving energies flowing from a white-winged orange tabby female elicat's body into your spirit.
This provides a temporary bonus to the skills entropy resistance, extropic affinity, holy fortitude, holy purity, and magick resistance. It also restores 1 spell point.
Attribute Modifications
The elicat grants its consort very large bonuses in willpower and perception, a moderate bonus in dexterity, and a small bonus in charisma.
Specialty Bonuses
Bonus specialty degrees and access are provided as follows:
Tier 1
Tier 2
Tier 3
Tier 4
Tier 5
Tier 6
At "fairly healthy" (?) bond strength, the first tier bonus specialties are increased to 2.
At "resilient" bond strength, the third tier bonus specialties are increased to 2.
At "deep" bond strength, bonus specialties for Holy Purity and Extropic Affinity are increased to 2.
At the middle of "deep" bond strength (65%) the first tier bonus specialties are increased to 3.
Tier 7
At "intimate" bond strength (possibly a bit after):
- Anatomy
- Balance
- Combat Reflexes
- Introspection
- Lack of Weakness
- Ownership
- Politics
- Quickness
- Sky Fieldcraft
- Vitamancy
At the middle of "nearing completion" bond strength (95%), all of the fourth, fifth, and sixth tier bonus specialties are increased to 2.
Late in "nearing completion" bond strength, the third tier bonus specialties (Find Weakness and Forestry) are increased to 3.
A bit later, the first tier bonus specialties are increased to 4.
Italicised skills require a free willpower specialty point when the bond is first established, but with development of the bond, bonus specialties are granted and the assigned specialty points can be re-assigned elsewhere if desired. NB: It is likely that Holy Purity and Extropic Affinity both have a large impact on how quickly bond strength is improved, so it may be useful to specialize these skills even higher.
The elicat also seems to grant its consort a single point of access to Order Resistance at some point.

Charms
Elicats fly in flocks, and are social creatures; the elicat familiar is able to charm other elicats into following its consort. Initially on bonding:
Shortly after:
At "somewhat frail" bond strength:
At "fairly healthy" bond strength:
At "robust" bond strength:
- Convert spiritual energy to Extropic and Holy resource energy
At the tail end of "deep" bond strength:
At "nearing completion" bond strength:
Additional Bonuses and Powers
Combat Maneuvers
At "robust" bond strength, a new attack maneuver is added, called "Flare of Angelic Power". It is fueled by Extropic and Holy resource energy obtained via the Convert charm, and appears to do holy damage, probably mixed with some extropic. Note that the capacities of these resource points are governed by their related affinities and magickal skill; the Holy resource is governed by Albimancy and Holy Purity, and the Extropic resource is governed by Extropic Affinity and Vitamancy. It can be fired with the 'perform special attack' command.
Wings
At "deep" bond strength, the consort sprouts a pair of wings:
You sense a strange resonance between you and Cutie, followed immediately by you feeling something rising up within your chest and bursting violently out of your back. A seemingly functional feathery white right wing suddenly bursts outwards from your back. You sense a strange resonance between you and Cutie, followed immediately by you feeling something rising up within your chest and bursting violently out of your back. A seemingly functional feathery white left wing suddenly bursts outwards from your back.
What happens if the character already has wings is unknown. If the character changes race, the wings are not usable until the character is reincarnated.
Traits granted
Bonding to an elicat familiar grants the consort a significant luck bonus, which increases with bond strength; this bonus reaches the maximum of 30 at around "intimate" bond strength. Additionally, the Sahasrara chakra provided by the familiar grants the Situational Awareness trait when fully charged.
At around "resilient" bond strength, the elicat grants a point of night vision and increases light sensitivity.
