The scyrotoi are extremely rare; legend has it that they were made or spawned by the ancient Graecan god Scyros of the Blades when he went mad and fought his brother and sister gods, who slew him. They seem to obviously be constructs of some kind, but no one is known to have duplicated the method of their creation.
