These are the languages of Lostsouls.
On Lost Souls, many different languages are spoken. Languages are considered skills, and as such, may be trained like any other skills. You can view the languages you know exist in the 'Language Skills' section of 'help skills', and you can view your actual language abilities with 'show skills language'. You begin with varying levels of fluency in each language you have, and depending on your fluency, you may or may not be able to understand either all or some of a message in that tongue. Language use is heavily dependent on one's intelligence; if two individuals each have a skill rating of 40 in a language, a more intelligent individual will be effectively fluent while someone with low intelligence will still be struggling with the language a bit. The ability to use written communication, whether reading or writing, depends on one's literacy skill (and intelligence, in the same manner as above) in addition to one's relevant language skill. Usual syntax for specifying a language for a spoken message: tell/say/whisper/etc <message> to <name> in <language>
