On Joining

Guildmaster is Master Jeht in the Riddlemasters' College in Leah's Hill

You can only join when Jeht is in the entry hall, can only get a lesson when he is in the classroom, can only train when he is in the library, and can only buy things when he is in the dormitory.

New Riddlemasters may join every 6 days. New members should update this section as they join. Timer is cleared if someone leaves the guild.

  • This may not be accurate as the reply from Jeht seems pretty vague. Saw the same person get told anywhere from 7 days to 2 days when they asked repeatedly.

Psychically alien races are not allowed: Master Jeht says, "Your mind is too alien to understand the secrets of riddle-mastery." to you.

  • I did not pay any attention when I joined and worked this out long after the fact so it might not be 100%. There was some bonus specs as well but they are lost in my other bonus specs so if someone could update this to be correct when they join that would be great.
   Master Jeht says, "You must learn more about the tenets of riddle-mastery.  Seek out and
challenge others who speak in riddles -- the king of the land under the sea, the dragon of the north 
-- and return when you have gained their wisdom."
 Master Jeht says, "Only those who have performed legendary deeds are worthy to study the secrets of riddle-mastery."

Your core abilities are gained by attending lessons in the neglected classroom when Master Jeht is there

Your spells are gained by kenning things after your lesson on occlumatology.

  • Riddlemaster background knowledge is learnt from the first lesson
  • Kenning is your second lesson which will grant you the ability of kenning (Identifies things, skill buffs when used in combat)
  • Occlumatology is the third lesson which will allow you to learn spells through kenning and cast them
  • Enigmatology is the fourth lesson which will grant you the abilities of Auctoration (spell mastery) and Amanuensis (spell recording with a cryptex)

Abilities and the Riddlemasters help file will unlock as each lesson is learnt. You will want to memorize your lessons.
