Hidden Skill

This skill represents the infusion of an essence of the amalgam mud into the substance of
one's body, reducing the harm caused by such forces, potentially even to the point where
exposure becomes restorative.  This is also true, to a lesser extent, of elemental water
and earth and the amalgams acid, alkali, ooze, crystal, salt, eskara, and shadow. One
further gains the capacity to store a reserve of amalgamal mud energy, in proportion to one's
degree of affinity, should one have access to sources of it.  However, the greater an affinity
for mud one develops, the more vulnerable one becomes to the amalgam smoke, and to a lesser
degree elemental fire and air and the amalgams heat, cold, light, lightning, darkness, and void.
