Hidden Skill

This skill represents the infusion of an essence of the amalgam smoke into the
substance of one's body, reducing the harm caused by such forces, potentially even
to the point where exposure becomes restorative.  This is also true, to a lesser extent,
of elemental fire and air and the amalgams heat, cold, light, lightning, darkness,
void, and shadow.  One further gains the capacity to store a reserve of amalgamal
smoke energy, in proportion to one's degree of affinity, should one have access to
sources of it.  However, the greater an affinity for smoke one develops, the more vulnerable
one becomes to the amalgam mud, and to a lesser degree elemental water and earth and the
amalgams acid, alkali, ooze, crystal, salt, and ash.
