Terrapin Station
Terrapin Station is Halfmoon Bay's oldest tavern, dating back to the days
of King Oman. It is also possibly the oddest. The interior walls are painted
a deep shade of purple, and the bar is painted a vivid pink. The walls are
adorned with various curiosities, some donated by past patrons, others
collected by Cassady himself. The most prominent of these is a large
rainbow-coloured tortoise shell that hangs behind the bar to the left of a
purple beaded curtain. To the right of the curtain hangs a simple menu. Like
most taverns, this one is dimly lit, but not by the usual candles or oil
lanterns. Instead, a large softly shimmering sphere hangs from the ceiling,
bathing the room in a soft glow. A number of brightly painted tables and
chairs are scattered through the room to provide ample seating for the
tavern's many customers. The area is reasonably well-lit.

   Bartender Cassady is here.
