Description
The River Tethys is inside a large rock. It's a 3D map and is pretty dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. If you decide to visit, make sure you can either climb, swim, or fly. Otherwise, you're gonna have a real hard time.
Notes of Interest
Spoiler warning: information below includes details, such as solutions to puzzles or quest procedures, that you may prefer to discover on your own.
The map is based on The Lorenz Attractor http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lorenz_attractor

- River Tethys — Very Simple (No Flight) by Rezna (Apr21/08)
- River Tethys — Simplified by Rezna (Apr21/08)
Coordinates:
- Lakan exit (16,1,1)
- Prime exit (-19,2,0) to Tainaron
- the Exoma exit (9,5,0)
- Donjon (-5,0,1)
- Death's Gate (3,3,3)
- Catelius Maximus (-8,-11,0)
- Hanoma exit (1,-2,-2)
Miscellaneous:
- Polypids drop Coruscars, the gem needed in the Power Potion Quest.
- Selecting this area for one's home culture will place the character aboard Charon's skiff, which wanders near the exits but won't land directly on them; be prepared to take heavy chaos damage when leaving via the Exoma exit, or fire damage when leaving via the Prime exit. Starting characters heading into Lakan are likely doomed to an early death, since it only leads back into the Exoma, aside from the great danger of Lakan itself.
End of spoiler information.
