The niedrisar, commonly called ogres, are a race of large anthropes, often more than three yares tall, known for their strength, toughness, and aggression, as well as overall stupidity. Their typical lifespan is comparable to that of a human if they do not die by violence, which is unusual. They are a type of risi, or lesser giant -- the least of these, in fact -- but the other risar and the jotnar are rarely willing to associate with them. They are more often found in the company of urgai, bogualu, and trulljai, and as nearly many speak the Angrak language common to those peoples than the Norska typical of giants.
