The eolur are strange beings similar to lothar and thondur that hail from the truly
deep places of the earth, living amongst rivers of magma and crushing pressures.  They are
most similar to the lothar, with skins of brass and a wreath of flame where a normal thond
would have hair and a beard. Like the thondur, they are resistant to magickal effects, but
their metal bodies are immensely strong and capable of withstanding tremendous punishment,
including that of great heat, tremendous pressures, and powerful energies.

Most folk, if they credit that eolur exist at all, refer to eolur as ur-dwarfs, although
thondur are not truly descended from them directly -- rather, eolur are the result of an
ancient pact between a group of particularly intrepid thondur and an ancient god of fire. 
As creatures of living metal and flame, eolur are immune to the passage of time, as well as
ailments of the flesh such as disease and poison.
