There are a variety of books to be found on Lost Souls. In real life, Playing Muds on the Internet provides a nice time capsule of 90s Lost Souls.
When you start playing you'll get a copy of The Neophyte Handbook, which appears here slightly different.
Boons
Books provide their readers with experience and skill training. Below are a list of known books, their in-game form, and the skills which they train. If a particular subject is unknown to you the book will introduce you to that subject.
Libraries
There are several libraries with books to read. To find books within a library use the search command. You may need to "search books", "search shelves", "search furniture", "search bed", etc. depending on the location. Some libraries and other places you might search are:
