Absolutely non-exhaustive list of anatomies (body shapes) and the creatures that use them.
There are several anatomies that seem custom-tailored for just a single race, so this list will be long.
Many of these custom-tailored anatomies actually use "modifiers". For example, Haughwan has the modifier "Eight-Branched", which means it has eight branches. If these are actually true separate anatomical definitions, a developer or somebody else can note it down.
Where possible, a race with no = after its name means that it's a pure example of its anatomy and has no distinguishing features.
- Anthropoid = Humanoid. Many creatures have it. Typically consists of a head, a torso, two arms and two legs plus feet.
- Anthrophidian = Human shaped but has snake parts. Since only Naga have this currently, it means they have snake tails.
- Spheroid = Sphere. Only one limb, 'body mass'.
- All Elementals, Primordials, Amalgamals
- Katakacha
- Dendromorph = Tree shaped
- Haughwan = Eight-Branched
- Katakachaxali = Eight-Branched
- Columnar = A cylinder, which can also be called Trunk. They don't have any other limbs by default, so they're heavy on modifiers.
- N'keh-Shub = Four-Tentacled Three-Legged
- Ygelyek = Eight-Pseudopodded
- Amorphous = No fixed shape.
- Clockwork Orange
- Abomination
- Acid Blob
- Alkali Blob
- Polypid = Six-Podded
- Shoggoth = Many possible forms
- Nebulex = Six-Tentacled
- Huskling = Three-Tentacled Three-Pseudopodded
- Incoherent = Like amorphous, but presumably disparate such that when you try to touch it, you touch the air between its many members, or its form loses cohesion. Only mosquito swarms are known to use this anatomy type.
- Arboroanthropoid = Tree shaped with anthropoid-like limbs, sometimes instead called "Dendroanthropoid". Only aethossa have this.
- Aboloid = Roughly a fish-slug with 3 eyes and 4 tentacles.
- Iaorexoid = Beings starting with Iao* look just like the Alien aliens. This one refers to the Iaoxi queen.
- Iaoxinioid
- Iaoxoid
- Iaoxlingoid
- Anthropoavioid = An anthrope with more bird features than just wings. Aviars are not this for whatever reason.
- Aakraqua = Flightless
- Arachnoid = Spider shaped or roughly so.
- Crab = Clawed

- Giant Spider
- Rhax
- Barking Spider
- Insectoid = Insect.

- Crayfish = Clawed
- Giant Crayfish = Clawed
- Ophidian = Snake or snake shaped.
- Amphiptere = Winged
- Quadruped = Walks on 4 feet. Many land mammals are this.

- Avigraal = Hoofed Winged
- Octoped = Has eight feet.
- Sleipnir = Hoofed
- Aurumvorax = Clawed
- Kentauroid = Is or has the shape of a kentaur.
- Kentaur = Chimeric

- Hippopithecid = Double-Ended Four-Extra-Armed
- Some of Blue's warpstone golems sometimes take on this shape.
- Avian = Bird or bird shaped
- Luminous = Dot/Mass of light or energy.
- Apagion
- Oneirheton
- Loamot
- Logoneiron (theorized)
- Tenebrous = Dot/Mass of darkness. Only cadagiontes are known to be this.
- Metaichthyoid = Linguistically, it's a fish shape that goes beyond what fish are. In-game, it's an illusionary fish made from imagination, fitting for the imaginary fish, the only known race to use it.
- Nucleid = Presumably looks like a core or a nucleus (an orb).
- Chiaroscuro = Four-Tendriled
- Dendroid = Plant
- Scatheweed = Double-Vined
- Lipithrad = Four-Tentacled
