- Location: Sanctuary
- Occupation: Recluse Wizard
- Look
- This is Enas Yorl, one of the oldest, and most powerful wizards in the world. Huddled inside his midnight robes, he presents an odd-looking figure. The robes are so voluminous that you cannot tell more than the vaguest outline of the figure inside them, and you feel like you wouldn't want a closer look. As you look, his outline seems to shift and change continously, due to an ancient curse. He has a webwork of sparkling light within and around him. He looks about seventeen dimins tall, five and three tenths dimins wide and one and seven twentieths dimins long.
- Info
Commands to say: Enas, where can you teleport me? Enas, teleport me to <city>
- His limbs are named head, chest, right arm, left arm, right hand, left hand, right leg, left leg, right foot and left foot. Enas Yorl was created by Giliath and Gareth, who wish to credit Fritz Leiber as inspiring this work; the source code was last updated Mon May 21 10:42:23 2007.
- Teleport destinations
- Enas says, "I can teleport you to the areas of the Shadow Tower, Syllyac, Jhan, Yathryn, Spiderwood, Kentaur Isle, R'lyeh, Tlaxcala, the Temple of Discordia, the Exoma, Camille, Sanctuary, Togrek, Mycenae, Devonshire, Thessalae, Losthaven, Narn, Camelot, Valathyr, Thistlewood, and Kolond"
- Notes
- To reach Enas Yorl easily and safely, simply 'say Enas' in the room with the blind manservant.
- In addition to teleporting people across the world, Enas Yorl will also craft a black adamantite spear when presented with 5 artifacts (not all artifacts will work). In addition to being of exquisite craftsmanship, strong material, and an all-around excellent weapon, the spear does stabbing and spirit damage, and is a non-artifact keepable item.
Spoiler warning: information below includes details, such as solutions to puzzles or quest procedures, that you may prefer to discover on your own.
In order to get Enas to construct a spear for you, you need to give him five artifacts that contain primal energies. Here is a list of artifacts that have been found to work:
Alahamorithil Albedo Athlasar Cristlun Czaklash Ektharnor Gadel Eldrsleggja the Eye of Shamash Fallasfang The Flower of Sperm Directed Onto Everything Ever Girdle of the Earthmother Grayswandir Heavensfire The Ice Blade of Tarn Malkyr's Shield Metaflux Nenya Nightbringer Podgebounce Qazadar the Confabulous Panegyric Thingamabob of Ultamon Zilch the Grey Sickle the Pestilent Crown The Singularity Staff Selene's Favour Skrukthmurgor Strangmacht Variabilis Werewindle The Winged Sandals of Hermes Yehovah's Hammer
Artifacts that do not work:
Astralung Aranal Cirdas Arktakar Axe of Dunbar Belamvor Korryn Blackheart Bloodfire Circlet of Clarity Circlet of Command Crucifix of Cathrys Daemonicus Omega Deathkiss Dragon-helm of Dor-Lomin Gaumontar Korryn Glory Gresjevrek the Nevermelting Hand of Vazaith Harval The Black Belt of Krakanroc The Holy Dagger of Amaterasu Horn of Calais Inquisitor Jaye's Mithril Staff of Ass-Beating Lightbringer Llyr's Wrath Meepo's Aegis Morvern Callar Mountainheart Nessavyn Odal Ossu Orcrist (A) Padlim's Umbrella Peacemaker Rising Dawn The Crown of the Rockfist the Sceptre of the Rockfist Scorch Shatter Snarl Solace Soulshard Talisman of Kalkin The Director the Dragonlance Vanik's Shield Var Kunai Vigour War Helm of Landis Zeal
Enas does not appear to remember what artifacts you've given him between reboots (unlike, say, Erasmus or Feanor). It seems that he even does not remember between incarnos logouts. So make sure you get five artifacts in one Lost Souls session.
You examine your black adamantite spear through your clear glass lens of analysis: This is a spear of black adamantite with a head that gives off a faint shimmering. All up and down its length are angular runic designs. The quality of its craftsmanship is exquisite. You estimate its value at about four thousand five hundred gold. You are holding it. It is in perfect condition. It looks about three twentieths of a dimin across and twenty-two and a half dimins long. It weighs about one and a half dekans. After a moment, the knowledge that the black adamantite spear is composed of fifty-three percent adamantite, forty-two percent dweomer and five percent logos drifts into your mind like a long-forgotten memory.
End of spoiler information.
